About Us
Although many might think grooming salons in the industry tend to focus on the way a pet ‘looks’, the industry as a whole has taken a great bearing to being a vital part of humane treatment (in a safe and properly cleaned environment) by offering grooms that focus on hygienic wellness, health, and comfort through grooming routines that are customized for each pets specific lifestyle, coat type, family budget, and the pets age and behavior.
The Serenity Paws team takes a serious approach to safety in our salons and the fact that grooming is a hygienic NEED in order to thrive. Through regular and routine handling and grooming, pets and their families can live a healthy life and contribute to overall wellness and happiness. It also contributes to a society of pets that are more socialized and familiar with situations to minimize accidents and injuries to handlers, clients, other dogs, or themselves.

A certificate program that focuses on pet hygiene needs, grooming techniques, gentle handling skills, dog behavior, identifying needs and abnormalities related to skin, coat, teeth, eyes, and ears, safety in the salon, and educating students on how to guide their clients into proper haircuts that fit different lifestyles and budgets with safety, comfort, compassion and humanity at the forefront of the process.
*We are not veterinarians, and we do not diagnose problems; however, we work in cooperation with the industry of pet health, and we are a part of the overall wellness of pets. In order to contribute successfully, we offer and also take part in ongoing education to learn and train others to identify basic grooming needs that contribute to overall pet wellness by: identify abnormalities in skin, coat, ears, eyes, teeth, and then guide clients through proper grooming routines while also referring pet parents to suitable professionals for appropriate care when needed.
Our primary objective:
Raise up leaders in the industry who have a meticulous focus on safety and compassion in grooming facilities for themselves and their clients while providing and offering practical solutions for grooming needs related to hygienic health in dogs that are necessary to thrive in the industry of pet health and wellness.
We are Innovative Leaders- We don’t do something just because that is the way it has always been done. We lead to find innovative solutions that solve our customers’ problems and drive the industry forward.
This is accomplished by providing a safe space for them to get the hands-on training needed to deliver proper identification of needs, handling techniques, and the ability to provide appropriate cuts and grooms for the different breeds and lifestyles of their clients. In addition, they will also be provided with the skills and knowledge to identify correct tools and properly care for, clean, and maintain the equipment and tools needed for safe and proper grooming.
Hygienic wellness needs of our pets are met when we have knowledge of the reason/s routine grooming is neccessary. This care is essential and when we know how to correctly identify common ailments, and guide clients towards proper grooming routines and practical hair styles for different lifestyles and budgets we can have healthy pets that thrive in society.
Students will meet those needs by learning how to;
identify the need and proper care for each lifestyle and situation, carry out proper grooming techniques with safe handling techniques, and then be able to successfully contribute to the industry by sharing their knowledge to help educate fellow peers and the pet owners/clients they serve.
Combined with good work ethic and a desire to never stop learning, this skill/trade will allow them to enter the industry prepared and ready to succeed in their own business or as a valuable gift to any organization.
